Shooting, Air Rifle .22

AIR RIFLE, weihrauch .22

The barrel needs blueing, that is all.  The gunsac needs replacing.  The gun is a really nice one, well looked after. It has a thumb catch for breaking the barrel quietly, the spring is good and it has a trigger screw to adjust the hair. £15 carriage with royal mail tracking, but it is a door pickup the £15 will be reduced from an accepted offer....

Wooden Ships Comments on this Liverpool Class Lifeboat
Liverpool Class RNLB built by Groves & Guttridge Ltd, Cowes, in 1939.
She served as the lifeboat for Cloughey, Co. Down with a well documented service record.
After being sold out of the RNLI in 1966, she was used as a private motor launch.
Between 2010 and 2012 she underwent a major restoration in the hands of Nelsons Boats, a yard specialising in lifeboats.  She was put back as close as possible to her original service condition by sourcing as many original parts, features and fittings as possible.  She was re-engined with an almost new Ford 4D.  The hull was found to be in excellent condition with no structural repairs required during the refit period.
This vessel is a living and working piece of maritime history in excellent condition, very capable and tough with legendary sea keeping qualities.  She is not equipped with the luxuries of a modern yacht and as such offers a different type of boating but she does it with style.  Complete with forward tent offering a dry cabin with 2 berths when required.
The boat is on the National Register of Historic Ships and is eligible to fly their dedicated ensign.
This is a remarkable boat with many original features and fittings.  Clean survey from 2021 available.
Currently in undercover storage at the vendors home with facilities to lift onto transport.

Wooden Ships Comments on this Danish Topsail Schooner
Built in Denmark by Ustrup of Vejle in 1934.
Originally built as a fishing vessel for gill net fishing, she is typical of the Danish designed vessels of the period with a bluff bow, sweeping sheer line and an elegant elliptical counter stern.  Launched with the name MIAS, she worked out of Hvide Sande with the fishing number RI100.  Sold to the UK in 1979 where she fished out of Sunderland, before moving to Maryport in 1987.  She continued fishing until purchased by the present owners in 1996.
Converted to her current configuration by her shipwright owner between 1996-2000, she carries an eye catching topsail schooner rig and has an MCA Category 2 commercial licence for 12 persons.  During the initial conversion all her hull fastenings were doubled up with approximately 10% of the oak hull planking replaced along with most of the deck beams, carlins and then a new deck laid.
Very nicely fitted out below decks with 8 berths including 2 doubles and 4 singles.  Laminated teak bath in the heads compartment.
She has cruised over the last 25 years as a family boat and as a charter vessel, exploring the Irish Sea, Scotland, Ireland and Brittany.
A superb little ship that doesn’t need a large crew to handle her, ideal for continued charter work or sailing as a private yacht.  She has excelled appearing in various films and TV productions with her rig making her very attractive to the productions crews looking for something a bit special.  She also has the visual impact to command appearance fees for the various boat festivals around the UK where she is a regular attendee.

Wooden ships Comments on this De Vries Lentsch Blue Water Ketch
Designed by De Vries Lentsch and built by Dutch luxury yacht builder Dik Van der Heiden in 1987 as a blue water ocean cruising yacht, specifically designed as a comfortable and capable yacht for extended family cruising.
In only her 3rd ownership, this yacht has travelled many thousands of miles around the globe, crossing the Atlantic numerous times and served as a cruising home for a young family.  Designed and built to withstand the rigours of ocean sailing, her hull is immensely strong and her sheltered centre cockpit makes her a very safe boat at sea.  The ample deck space and cavernous interior make for very comfortable live aboard conditions as she has proved over the years.
Continual upgrades and improvements in recent years include a new teak deck in 2014, new teak coachroof decks in 2019, engine rebuild 2019 plus new generator, batteries and a water maker.
This is a serious live aboard cruising yacht with excellent pedigree and provenance, more than capable of setting off again around the world be it with a family or single handed.

Wooden Ships Comments on this 18′ Nick Smith Traditional Motor Launch
18’ varnished clinker motor launch built by Nick Smith of Salcombe, a skilled and experienced boat builder who has a reputation for building exquisite motor launches.  This boat was completed in 2021 and first launched in the spring of 2022.
His designs are based on the traditional working boats of Salcombe with a straight stem, full bilges and an elegant sheer line.
Derived from the inshore fishing boats of Salcombe, this launch is an excellent sea boat with the full bilges giving good internal volume and excellent stability, while the full bow sections and high sheer line make them dry boats and very capable at sea.  They are also superb river boats, slipping along at hull speed with next to no wash and turning heads in any setting.
Fitted with a Beta 14hp diesel engine which will give an estimated 6 knots cruising speed.
Commonly these boats are built with a small aft deck and foredeck, however this one is completely open giving more useable interior space.  In the bows is a large V-shaped thwart which provides ample seating space but also a safe step for stepping over the bow when coming into a pontoon.
Used for only 2 seasons and wintered ashore under cover.  She comes with an excellent road trailer, all over cover, warps, fenders etc and is ready for immediate use.

AIR RIFLE KASU .22

Kasu .22 air rifle, an underlever with the sliding trap for loading.  One problem for these guns is that one loaded you cannot unload, you have to fire into the ground to release the spring. Pick the pellet up with a toothpick type of loader and put the pellet in with it. £15  postal with royal mail and tracking so a door pick up with a reduction of the cost of postal. The gun needs some tlc but a good gun at any rate. The rear site needs to be seen to but it is all there....

Air Rifle, Webley Vulcan .22

A very powerful rifle that has been left in a damp place. There are NO sights on this gun.It had a laser sight that has been lost and the damp has created a rough barrel.  I have fired it and the rifling inside is excellent. It also needs a sanding down and fresh varnish and blueing on the metal. A bit of grease and oil and it will turn into a major air rifle again.   It would cost £15 royal mail postage but as it is pickup i will remove £15 off the top offer.  ...
